I wrote about howling winds in my previous blog. We took some videos on Radhesh's phone. I researched a bit around the internet to convert MP4 to a format that can be reasonably published. The quality isn't great, but you will get the idea about the wind. I will try and get better with my research on codecs and players.

So how do you know if a tree has been blown over my wind, or knocked over by erratic bus driving?

Well, interestingly it is possible. Radhesh says that bus hit will be a targetted attack.

It appeared that at times that there is an association of drivers for targetting particular trees at some point in the year. Maybe an auspicious day or something!

In a wind blown situation, all of us can petition the government for compensation for allowing the wind to enter the country. Like drought, flood and other natural disaster compensation.

The tree knocked down by the bus is still in an uprooted condition and glasses strewn all around. Nobody bothered to clean it up. In Australia people tie flowers and other memorablia to the tree if someone was killed in the accident. Hoever, here people avoid the tree for fear of ghosts waiting to take more lives.
